What we built

The new Import My Portfolio feature uses AI to extract structured property data from your spreadsheets — any format, any layout. No templates, no column mapping, no reformatting.

How it works

1. Go to your Dashboard and click Import My Portfolio (or navigate to Settings → Import)
2. Drag and drop your spreadsheets — .xlsx, .xls or .csv files
3. Add as many files as you like — rent ledgers, compliance trackers, tenancy schedules
4. Click Process — AI reads every sheet and extracts property data
5. Review the results — each property is shown as an editable card with confidence indicators
6. Edit anything that needs correcting — the AI is good, but you know your portfolio best
7. Click Import — your properties, tenants and compliance records are created instantly

Every field shows where it was extracted from (file name and cell reference) and a confidence score, so you can see exactly what the AI found and verify it at a glance.

What happens to your data

Your spreadsheets are sent to our AI processing partner (Anthropic) for extraction. They are not stored after processing and are not used for AI training. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Extracted data is shown to you for review before anything is saved to your account. Nothing is committed without your explicit confirmation.

Tips for best results

• Include column headers — the AI works best when columns are labelled
• Upload multiple files — a compliance tracker + rent ledger gives better results than either alone
• Check the confidence dots — green means high confidence, amber means worth double-checking
• You can always add more later — import is not a one-time operation. Come back and upload new files any time
